- KRASZNAI ceramics

KRASZNAI is a young studio from Barcelona. All the works we produce are handmade and/or slipcasted ceramics and each one of them is a little bit different from the others. At least we like to think that they all have their own behaviour. Our new collection is called “Arms&Crafts” and you can check all these things in it. But the main aim with the works is to have fun and, if possible, bring a smile to your face


- KRASZNAI STREET

Krasznai is a street in your mind; even though in reality it does exist.
It’s in many of the places you have passed.
Many times you have noticed the details of its balconies, its streetlights or its receptions but without ever having given them a second thought.

Krasznai is the street where all your ironic thoughts about society are concentrated.
Some are nothing more than clay waiting to be attended to in a shop.
Some argue about nothing covered in enamel. Others take advantage of some corner to dry out on in the sun, and others, fresh out of the oven, simply watch how people walk down the street.

Sometimes, one of the residents of Krasznai Street is followed by a group of executives, sometimes a man protects himself with an umbrella from the shit falling from a drainpipe.
You can see a dinosaur that has come back to life peeking out from behind the weeds, or how a group of Special Forces police officers close in on a rucksack with their machine guns firmly trained on the target.

There is a lot of life in Krasznai Street.
Things always happen.
The protagonist may be a person, a dog, or an object, or it could be that the protagonist is you.
There is always something going on.

In Krasznai Street the things that happen come from reality.
All the situations you come across could have happened in any other place,
but once removed from reality- views with a little bit of distance that move toward the absurd.
